Source Code is a 2011 French-American science fiction thriller film directed by Duncan Jones, produced by Mark Gordon, Jordan Wynn, and Philippe Rousselet, and written by Ben Ripley. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a U.S. Army captain who is sent into a computed reality to find a bomber; additionally starring are Michelle Monaghan, and Vera Farmiga. The film had its world premiere on March 11, 2011 at South by Southwest,[4] and was released by Summit Entertainment on April 1, 2011 in North America and Europe.

The film received acclaim from critics upon its release and became a box office success, grossing over $147.3 million worldwide.[3][5] Plans for a television adaptation at CBS were announced shortly after the film was released. However, these plans were scrapped in December 2014 in favor of a film sequel. The sequel is in development with Mark Gordon returning to produce and Anna Foerster attached to direct.

Edge of Tomorrow (alternatively known by its tagline Live. Die. Repeat. and marketed as such on home release[4])[nb 1] is a 2014 American science fiction action film starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Doug Liman directed the film based on a screenplay adapted from the 2004 Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. The film takes place in a future where Earth is invaded by an alien race. Cruise plays Bill Cage, a public relations officer with no combat experience, who is ordered by his superior to film the first wave of a crucial landing operation against the aliens. Though Cage is killed in combat, he finds himself in atime loop that sends him back to the day preceding the battle every time he dies. Cage teams up with Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt) in seeking a way to defeat the extraterrestrials.

Déjà Vu is a 2006 American science fiction action film starring Denzel Washington and directed by Tony Scott. The film co-starsPaula Patton, Jim Caviezel, Val Kilmer, Adam Goldberg and Bruce Greenwood. Déjà Vu involves ATF agent Douglas Carlin, who travels back in time in attempts to prevent a domestic terrorist attack that takes place in New Orleans and to save a woman with whom he falls in love, Claire Kuchever. Filming took place in New Orleans before and after Hurricane Katrina.[2]

The film was premiered in New York City on November 20, 2006, and released widely in the United States and Canada two days later on November 24, 2006. It received mixed reviews from critics, and earning $64 million in the United States and $180 million worldwide. It was the 23rd most successful film worldwide for 2006. The film was nominated for five awards, and also won theGolden Reel Award.
